London Trip Chapter 3 - National Gallery (런던 방문기 제 3장 - 내셔널 갤러리)

엄마 아빠,

 

이제 마지막 날이네. 친구한테 이별을 고하고 혼자서 유명한 내셔널 갤러리로 갔어.

영국 런던 트라팔가 스퀘어에 있고 1824년 개관했다고 해. 입장료는 무료야. 여기는 그게 좋은거 같아. 양질의 예술작품을 돈을 내지 않고 구경 할 수 있다는거 자체가 아름 답지 않아? 에비앙을 무료로 마시고 영혼의 치킨스프 같은 거지. ㅋ

It is my last day in London. I said good bye to my friend and went to National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. National Gallery was founded in 1824 and admission is free. It is a previlege to have free admission to see arts of high standard. It is like drinking Evian free of charge to feed my soul a great bowl of chicken soup.

 

차링크로스 지하철역에서 내려서 내셔널 갤러리로 걸어가면서 찍은 사진이야.

I took a photo of National Gallery while walking towards it from Charing Cross station.

 

아래 사진 중앙에 파란색 꼬끼요가 인상적이어서 찍었어.

The blue rooster statue was impressive.

 

마지막날 날씨가 좋았는데 이상하게 사진들이 흐리게 나오더라구.

The weather was good on my last day in London but somehow all my pics came out all very dark.

 

이사진 넘 이쁘지? Isn't this picture very pretty?

 

 

자유로운 영혼을 가진 음악가가 악기로 길거리 연주하니까 사람들이 하나씩 몰려들고...

A musician of free soul was playing his musical instrument in the front yard of the gallery. People started gathering around him bit by bit.

 

 

건물 한번 웅장하다 그치... Such a magnificent building, isn't it?

 

사람들이 어떤 길거리 공연 본다고 떼거지로 몰려들어 있어.

There was a herd of people watching a performance.

이사람... 높은 자전거 같은데 서서 칼로 고난도의 공연을 땀을 뻘뻘 흘리면서 보여주고 있었어.

This performer was showing his high level of performance on a high bike with knives.

 

 

 

그 와중에도, "나는 이걸로 먹고 사니까, 그냥 가시지 마시고 금전적으로 도움을 주시고 가셔요." 를 몇번이고 외치더라.

Whilst busy doing knife feat, he did not forget to say, "This is what I do for a living so please don't just go away. Help me with some money."

 

 

관광객들이 분수대 앞에서 평화롭게 쉬고 있어. Tourists are resting around and on a fountain.

 

 

갤러리 안에 들어가서 두시간 정도 넔놓고 다녔어. 정말 크더라.. 어떤 그림들은 그냥 앞에서 다리 아플때 까지 서있을 정도로 장엄하고 감동 스럽고 아름답더라.

I wandered around in the gallery for about two hours. It is huge inside. The paintings were so amazing that I stood before some of them until my legs couldn't take the standing.

 

이제 리버풀 역으로 다시 가야 할 시간이 되었어. 천천히 걸어서 나와서 토튼햄 코트로드 지하철 역으로 걸어갔어. It was not time to go back to Liverpool station to go back to Norwich. I walked out slowly and started walking towards Tottenham Court Road station.

 

 

 

 

토튼햄 코트역에서 한국식당 가서 떡볶이 한사라 흡입하고 리버풀 역으로 쟈철 타고 갔어. 아래는 리버풀 역 내부 사진이야. 꽤 크지?  이층에 보면 막스엔 스펜서 같은 수퍼마켓도 있고 옷가게도 있고..아랫층엔 AMT 라든지 스타벅스같은 커피숍 그리고 먹거리 등을 파는 가게들이 있어.

I went to a Korean restaurant for a plate of ddeokbbokki(rice cake and fish cake with noodles in spicy chili sauce) and devoured it and then I went to Liverpool station on tube. Below are inside of Liverpool station. As you can see, on the second floor there are shops including M&S and on the ground floor there are coffee shops like AMT Coffee or Starbucks and shops with goodies.

 

 

머리 맡에 저렇게 오고가는 기차와 시간들이 떠...플랫폼이 엄청 많은게 느껴지지?

There was a hugh board above my haed showing trains and their times with their platform numbers.

 

이렇게 반나절을 보내고 나는 다시 노리치로 돌아가는 기차에 몸을 실었어. 행복한 4일 이었던 거 같애. 하지만 다시 스윗홈으로 돌아가서 크리스 보고 싶다고 하면 앙큼하다고 할거야? ㅋㅋ

 

I spend my morning to the fullest and got myself on the train to go back to Norwich. I had very full and happy 4 days. But I want to go back to our sweet sweet home to be with Chris. heehee
